Potluck at the Park started as a Life Group of Green Valley Church in Hoover, Alabama. It grew out of the desire of a few friends to really dive into studying the Bible and to do that in community with other people. We believe we learn best when we can discuss and wrestle with questions together. We also believe that life is meant to be lived in community and that we need each other.
Our group meetings were a simple and easy time together to talk about what we read and build deeper relationships with each other and the word of God. So, we brought a dish to share for dinner together, had a time of kid oriented discussion, and then continued with grown up oriented discussion while the kids play. Even though that group only lasted a season, that’s still the goal of this material, so feel free to use everything here to start your own group or study habit.
